BIRT reporting straight out of the can
Yellowfin International today announces the release of 3.1 which includes the full integration of BIRT into its Analysis and Reporting platform.
BIRT is an Eclipse-based open source reporting system for web applications, especially those based on Java and J2EE. BIRT has two main components: a report designer based on Eclipse, and a runtime component that will be integrated into the Yellowfin application.

The integration of BIRT leverages the Yellowfin platform including scheduling, security, dashboards, and its reporting and analysis module. This enables users to maximise the capabilities of BIRT with in an existing and proved BI framework.
