Looking to update your Yellowfin skills? We’re hosting two all-day training modules at Karstens’ fully decked-out training facilities in Melbourne, across Wednesday 2nd and Thursday 3rd April 2014.
The instructor-led sessions, which will combine theory with guided practice, are designed to accommodate the needs of new as well as long-time Yellowfin users.
Level 1 (Exploration) training will be held on Wednesday 2nd, and is suited to newer Yellowfin users. Level 2 (Advanced) training will be held on Thursday 3rd, and will suit more accomplished Yellowfin users.
Enjoy hands-on training with fully catered lunch, morning and afternoon tea.

Objective: Proficiency to navigate, interact and collaborate with reports, dashboards and Storyboard using the Yellowfin browser and mobile interfaces (iPad/iPhone). Gain expertise to create and maintain Yellowfin reports and dashboards. More specifically, gain knowledge and confidence around report creation basics including charts, calculations, functions, drill and maintaining personal dashboards. Additionally, gain an understanding of how to use Yellowfin’s mobile capabilities and create compelling presentations with Storyboard.
Audience: Consumers, OEM users, report writers, business analysts

Agenda Level 2 (Advanced)
When and where: 9:00am – 4:30pm, Thursday 3rd April at Karstens’ Melbourne training centre (118 Queen Street, Melbourne 3000). Show me on a map >
Objective: Exposure to advanced report concepts (including sub queries, ‘What If’ analysis, co-reports and KPI reports), charting (standard, specialty, statistical and mapping), formatting and collaboration. Develop best practice techniques for Yellowfin content creation (reports, dashboards and Storyboards) and learn how to create Storyboard themes.
Audience: Advanced report writers, consultants and technical specialists
