Global Business Intelligence (BI) software vendor, Yellowfin, has introduced new filtering capabilities and easy-access menu displays to its application for the iPad.
The new filtering feature enables users to filter reports based on the user parameters required for a specific report.
“This enhancement means that in addition to being able to drill down and through data, users can actively filter their reports for the data sets they need,” said Yellowfin CEO, Glen Rabie.
An information icon has been added to the top right corner of the screen, providing information regarding the usefulness and purpose of different report types.
A new menu bar at the bottom of the screen introduces a range of functions, allowing users to add reports to their favorites, email and comment on reports, and toggle between table and chart mode.
“These additions enrich the users’ experience through enhanced navigability and interactivity, whilst improving information collaboration and knowledge-sharing capabilities,” said Rabie.
