Yellowfin appoints Robert Wilson: Vice President – Global Channel Partners.
Yellowfin is going Global in 2006 & beyond.
Potential Channel Partners now have a direct line into Yellowfin following the recent appointment of Robert Wilson.
Prior to joining Yellowfin, Robert had been involved in taking mainly Australian and a few European IT software development companies into the International market stretching back over 25 years.
“The potential of Yellowfin in the global market is substantial” says Robert “Yellowfin has come into the market at the right time, at the right price and with an appealing model to market for potential Partners” he added.
Robert sees that the BI market is dominated by just a few major companies at present, Crystal Reports, Business Objects & Cognos; whos software and total cost of ownership has become too expensive for most companies to justify. Added to that is the perceived attitude of arrogance that often develops with major players, sometimes resulting in disgruntled partners and clients, alike.
Yellowfin is a completely fresh approach in BI, directed at the Business-user with full web deployment, ad-hoc reporting, version control, sub-second response, & much more, all with just a few hours intuitive training.
An added advantage, according to Robert, ” is the ease that Yellowfin can be embedded seamlessly into other applications, such as: HR, CRM, ERP, Banking, Finance, Legal etc”.
Having lived & worked in Europe for 5 years, managed an Australian IT company with an office in Chicago for 10 years, set up Channel partners in 30+ countries and with extensive experience in Asia – Japan, Singapore & China, Robert brings with him a wealth of experience as he assist Yellowfin to enter and expand in the International IT market.
Potential Partners wanting to know more about Yellowfin and its market appeal, should contact Robert Wilson directly.
