Global Business Intelligence (BI) and Analytics vendor, Yellowfin, is one of a number of vendors invited to participate in the Business Application Research Center’s (BARC) 2013 benchmark report on BI – The BI Survey 13.
The vendor is seeking prospective participants with first-hand experience using Yellowfin to complete the survey.
The survey takes approximately 20 minutes to complete, and is open until Friday 5th July.
Participants should use their corporate email address to complete the survey, or their submission may not count, warned BARC.
The BI Survey is the world’s largest annual survey of BI users, with last year’s report compiled from over 3000 individual responses. The study gathers input from a large number of organizations to better understand buying decisions, implementation cycles and the benefits achieved from using BI software.
According to BARC, all participants will:
- Receive a summary of the results from the full survey
- Be entered into a draw to win one of ten $50 Amazon vouchers
- Have their experiences included in the final analysis
BARC guarantees that participants’ details will not be sold or passed on to any third-party organizations.
The BI Survey 13 is strictly vendor-independent: “BARC does not accept vendor sponsorship of the survey, and the results are analyzed and published without any vendor involvement,” BARC said in a statement.
