Retiring old tables and columns
15 July, 2016
We've done some database restructuring lately and as such some of our columns from one table have been merged into other tables. Is there a way to point a field from step 2 in the view builder to a different table/column?
I haven't been able to remove the old fields due to the fact that they're being used in reports, so I've been forced to title the old field to "first name archived" and then bring in the new "first name" field from a different table.
Please help!

Hi Derek,
Thanks for the post.
Unfortunately, if you've moved your columns to another table - there is no way to relink them... If they are simply renamed, but in the same table then they can be relinked by editing the view. However in your case It sounds like you've moved tables too.
I apologise for the disappointment.
Kind Regards,
Cadell.
